The implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) according to standards such as the RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), JAC Code of Conduct (Joint Audit Cooperation), or other social responsibility standards such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), SA8000 (Social Accountability), and industry-specific regulations is not just an obligation but also a long-term strategic approach.

These are essential standards that businesses should pay attention to, especially Vietnamese enterprises seeking to collaborate with foreign businesses, in order to achieve business growth, minimise legal risks, enhance brand reputation, and create a workplace that meets international standards.

However, not all businesses fully understand:

  • The specific standards within their industry and the labour sector;
  • The associated legal and business risks;
  • How to develop a strategy for incorporating CSR into business operations in compliance with legal regulations and social responsibility standards.

For this reason, the Corporate Legal Directors Club is organising a seminar on “Decoding the Legal Aspects of Corporate Social Responsibility.” This seminar will help attendees gain a deeper understanding of the importance of adhering to CSR standards, relevant legal regulations, and how to build an effective CSR strategy for their business.
