About the Speaker – Lawyer Nguyen Van Thanh
Lawyer Thanh, formerly the Head of Legal Affairs at Samsung SDI Vietnam (2015), has been the Managing Partner at Youth & Partners Law Firm since 2019.
- Member of the Executive Board, Vinh Phuc Legal Club (since March 2024).
- Licensed Lawyer No. 10652/LS issued by the Vietnam Bar Federation.
- Member of the Vietnam Bar Federation (since 2015).
- Lawyer under the Vietnam Lawyers Association and the Bar Association of Vietnam.
With extensive experience in corporate internal issues, labour, and commercial law, Lawyer Thanh has a deep understanding of international corporate and labour standards. He is highly skilled in resolving internal corporate disputes and addressing legal issues with business partners and suppliers.
Notably, Lawyer Thanh is among the few lawyers in Vietnam certified as a Senior Auditor in management, labour, human rights, and business ethics systems by the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA). As a Lead Auditor for Samsung Vietnam’s supplier evaluation teams, he has conducted hundreds of audits to ensure compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct and Vietnamese law.
